In the beginning, a new career can be glorious.
Then something changes.
It’s life, right? Nothing is constant for very long.
Eventually, something goes out of balance. The magic is gone. You feel drained rather than energized.
You want more.

The twists and turns of my own career shaped the coaching process I use today.
I absolutely loved my first 12 years at an ad agency, moving from roles in media to client service to promotional marketing.
But I worked 80-hour weeks and I had absolutely no life outside of work.
I wanted to start a family but I couldn’t see how this would be possible if I was working too much and never out meeting people.
Looking back, I began to develop my coaching process at that point.
I decided I needed to change my work to enjoy my life, so I transitioned to become an executive recruiter in the ad industry.
My work was exciting and provided the support I needed as I got married and had three boys.
Then, after 14 years, the internet drastically changed the executive recruiting world, and it was no longer for me.
So, I got really clear on what I enjoyed and what I was good at—and I pivoted again.
I realized that I could combine my natural abilities and relevant experience with training and certification as a coach—and create a dream career.
In retrospect, I was always destined to become a coach.
I’ve now been coaching for nearly 20 years, drawing from my own professional pivots and helping hundreds of marketing and advertising professionals take control of their future.
I offer a variety of services to professionals 10-15+ years into their careers, including career coaching, executive coaching, and work/life balance coaching, both in 1:1 and group formats.
My guiding principle is that I truly believe that you know yourself best. My role is to help you clear away the clutter so that you can see yourself with more clarity. And then take some giant leaps forward!
You deserve to be madly in love with your work AND your life.
Beryl is a breath of fresh air. She’s such an open, genuine, and compassionate partner, in addition to being an extremely skilled motivator and coach. Today, I'm in a field of work that I find very fulfilling, and am operating with increased confidence and greater enjoyment of life—with excellent tools to keep the momentum going in the future.
My clients span industries and reinventions beyond advertising. I've coached a Buddhist nun, an investment consultant, a tenured professor, a non-profit founder, and an art gallery owner, among others. (Does any of that sound like you?)
I've logged 600+ Pilates classes and I'm still counting.
I learned Hebrew and had an adult Bat Mitzvah in 2021. Yes, I'm proud of that one.
I've hiked the Cinque Terre while six months pregnant, kayaked among glaciers in Alaska, navigated Tokyo and Kyoto across 50+ train stations, and once road-tripped to Yellowstone just to see a hot spring named Beryl.
I was the most spirited marching band parent at our high school, four years running. There's an award. I have it.
I'm a proud reformed workaholic, which means I coach what I've lived.
I'm dedicated to giving back. Check out my LinkedIn profile for details.
