Coaching and Workshops for Working Parents

Are you barely staying one step ahead of work deadlines, kid homework, meal planning, and the commute—with zero time to even breathe? I can help you find a way to blend your many talents and responsibilities in a way that makes it all much more doable (and, hello, enjoyable!) so you can be your best self at work and at home.

Beryl helped me find my confidence and feel better on a daily basis by deciding on the areas I want to say YES to in my life.

HEDISH AMIR, GLOBAL INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER, FREEMAN COMPANY, DALLAS, TX

I get you. I’ve been there. (In fact, I’m still there!) As a working parent in the professional world, you spend many days feeling like you’re barely holding it together and failing everyone who depends on you.

Do these scenarios sound familiar?

Your child care fell through last minute so you were sweating bullets trying to piece together coverage so you could attend a conference.

You race out of the office to make it to daycare pick up on time and feel guilty about all the work and people you left behind at the office.

You forgot to dial in to a meeting because your kid was home sick.

Your kid was the only one without a silly hat for silly hat day because you didn’t get that reminder onto your calendar.

I can support you on your working parent journey!

Working Parents - Career Coaching by Beryl

Saatchi & Saatchi LA has sent seven leaders at all levels to the 4A’s Mothers @ Agencies program as part of our commitment to invest in people at all stages of motherhood. These mamas use this time to gain a higher level of self-awareness so that they truly understand what their priorities are and then leverage the tools provided to find their personal balance for better. The outcome is they feel less alone and stick around because we truly do care about their well-being. Cheers to coach Beryl and this Mothers@Agencies program to continue to help us shape the culture of Saatchi and support mothers in the advertising community.

SARAH PARSA NGUYEN, VIVAMAMA NATIONAL CHAIR, LOS ANGELES, CA

Every day, you’re killing yourself to pack lunches and get your family out the door with a good night of sleep and clean clothes on—only to rush into the office to an overwhelming to-do list.

It feels like your colleagues, your co-parent, and/or your kids are all impatient with you about something.

You feel like you’re not quite achieving anything except running yourself ragged.

Let’s be honest here: it’s not actually possible for working parents to achieve 100% work/life balance.

But it can be so valuable to get some control back when you’re feeling like the imbalance is exhausting you.

Together, we’ll look at opportunities to get the most important stuff done well—and let go of what isn’t as critical. You can thrive during this season of your life!

I look forward to helping you make it happen.

You can become that parent who is actually holding it all together (more or less!) by:

Make decisions with ease

Feel like you’ve got things under control

Boost your self-confidence

Know that you’re a great employee AND a fantastic parent

Be present

Find peace and gratitude in the messiness

I feel empowered to pursue my career goals and be the father I want to be with my kids; I now believe that I can do both well!

One-on-One Coaching for Work/Life Balance:

My one-on-one coaching for working parents helps you see your big picture. We actually start by creating that!  We’ll strive to prioritize your values as you crank out a demanding workload and manage unpredictable little ones. We’ll work to better understand your strengths and challenges and then set goals to shift your daily reality into something more sustainable, healthy, and even fun.

This leadership development program is designed for all types of moms: expectant moms, new moms, and experienced moms. Offered twice a year through the 4A’s, this program includes eight virtual group coaching workshops with other agency moms from across the country. We meet virtually as a group over a period of four months, with curated content, community discussions, and homework assignments.

Mamas who complete this program report being more in control of their time, more decisive about their top priorities, and overall more engaged and productive. And WAY happier. They get promoted, take on new initiatives and feel better about themselves, their careers and their time with their families. Individual registration is available through the 4A’s site, with a discount for 4A’s members. Learn more about Mothers@Agencies here!

This comprehensive tool kit, typically offered as part of an organization’s parental leave policy, is designed to support parents preparing to come back to work after the birth of a child. New parents and their managers complete a series of on-demand webinars and live virtual workshops as they learn how to create a new way of working together and set themselves up for success. Customize a Workshop

I also can customize a workshop for your team! Here are some examples of topics agencies have  done in the past:

  • Redefine your Work/Life Balance
  • Parents are rockstars too: change the culture/team/relationship with the parent on your team
  • “Guilt,” “shoulds”, and “judgment,” how do we sabotage ourselves and lose our confidence?
  • Beyond time management: a new perspective on time
  • Expand your team for success, and you’ll be surprised!
  • What about the dads?
