Frequently Asked Questions
If you have questions we haven’t answered here, please contact us here and we’ll get back to you right away!
How do we get started?
What’s the time commitment?
I recommend a one-time first meeting that is 90 minutes long to “jump start” our work together. After that, I recommend meeting twice a month for 50 minutes each session. This allows us to “build momentum” and give you time in between to reflect and take action.
How many total sessions you will need is very dependent on your goals and your situation. An average “range” to consider is: 5-6 sessions to optimize your job search and 10-12 sessions to identify what is next in your career. Again, we can meet more or less than this depending on you.
In between our sessions you will most likely have “homework” and “next steps” to complete. You will accelerate your ability to reach your goals if you do the exercises, homework and reflection in between our calls, and you get to determine your time investment here.
How do we get together for our sessions? How and when do we meet?
I coach primarily over the phone for my individual career coaching clients. This allows us to use our time very efficiently as well as create a unique focus between us. If you are in the Chicago area, I’m open to meeting in person, however there will be an additional cost to cover the additional time.
What are the costs and how do I pay?
I accept credit cards and personal checks. I use Quick Books to invoice and track payments.
